The cordless edge router for laminate.
For perfect flush trimming or rounding off plastic and veneered edges. Its ideal centre of gravity means you can guide the router safely without it tipping over. The antistatic dust extraction whisks chips away upwards, so they don't pile up and mess with your routing results. Plus, the cordless drive with a brushless EC-TEC motor gives you even more flexibility.
With a bigger base support for those overhanging edges: perfect for flush trimming or rounding off those pesky edges. The ball bearing brake stops any damage to delicate edges.
The routing depth can be fine-tuned to a tenth of a millimetre. The user-friendly clamp handle stops the router table from shifting while you're working.
The S8 HW MFK facing cutter can also be used to route edges flush, even for angled edges. The chip deflector is shaped so that it acts as a guiding aid, irrespective of the edge angle.
The router can be changed quickly and easily thanks to the spindle stop.
An integrated extraction channel in the wide support table whisks the shavings away upwards. Statically charged, sticky plastic shavings are sucked up effectively.
The battery pack built in to the router, makes for easy edge routing without all the cable mess.
Efficiency, power, low noise and minimal vibrations: it’s all possible thanks to the brushless EC-TEC motor with built-in motor management.
Because of the MMC electronics, the speed can be quickly adapted to the working material and is kept constant under load. The temperature monitoring of the motor also guarantees a long service life.
When you use Bluetooth® battery packs, you can easily combine cordless edge routers with the extractor's remote switch – machine on, extractor on.
By connecting to the Festool app, you can check out various machine data, like the last location. You can also quickly find the right accessories and handy tips. Plus, you can carry out software updates or create a repair order if you need a service.
