The Makita HP001GD201 40v Max brushless combi drill is part of the new XGT range of tools from Makita which combine innovative tool design and high output batteries to provide a genuine solution for high demand industrial users.
The HP001GD201 features a high power brushless motor that increases battery run time and produces a maximum torque of 125Nm providing drilling capacities of 50mm in timber and 20mm in masonry. AFT (active feedback technology) senses if bit rotation suddenly stops and turns the motor off to protect the user and the unit from damage and XPT (extreme protection technology) provides added protection from dust and moisture in harsh conditions.
The HP001GD201 has a 2-speed gearbox and is a 3 mode machine with hammer drilling for masonry, screwdriving with 41/21 clutch settings and drill only for added fastening control. This unit is well balanced and compact with a rubberised grip and extended side handle for maximum control. Other features include a metal gearbox, 13mm all steel keyless chuck and LED lights for increased visibility.
